PAST PROJECTS

Take a look at our projects and see the journey of their growth. From the very beginning to how we've expanded their scope and scaled their impact over time.

2021

During one of our founding members’ first visit to Ghana, they were inspired to connect with community leaders making a difference in their area. With a small donation of about $80 USD, they provided school supplies to a local orphanage. This orphanage was established by a compassionate woman who recognized the need to support and house children without guardians. Funded solely by donations, she has been able to hire teachers to educate the children living at the orphanage through primary school and cover their school fees once they enter high school. We are committed to nurturing this relationship and supporting her mission for years to come, ensuring these children receive the education and care they deserve.

2022

After connecting with the community at the Art Center in central Accra, the founder of EUE International partnered with Rashid, a local artisan, musician, and community leader. Rashid shared that the nearby children often yearn for simple treats—small joys that excite young kids. Together, they organized a special day, providing over 50 children with some of their favorite snacks. This heartwarming event not only brought smiles to the children's faces but also strengthened the bond between the community and our organization.

2023 - 2024

In 2023, we embarked on our first large-scale project partnering with Rashid again. Our goal was to highlight the incredible talents of the children in his community and reward their efforts with much-needed school supplies.

Throughout the year, we procured donations, assembled a team of volunteers, and meticulously planned every detail. This effort culminated in January 2024 with a 10-day trip for a small group of five volunteers, alongside our teams from Seattle and Ghana. During their stay, the volunteers immersed themselves in the local culture, enjoying traditional food, touring historical sites, attending a traditional dinner party, and building meaningful connections with the community.

The highlight of the trip was a talent expo where the children showcased their skills in poetry, dance, drawing, gymnastics, and more. To celebrate their achievements, they were rewarded with the donated backpacks filled with essential school supplies and other items to support their education and personal growth.
